Dear friends, colleagues, partners and customers!
We congratulate you on the national professional holiday - the Day of Tourism!
World Tourism Day was established by the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization, UNWTO (The World Tourism Organization, UNWTO) in 1979 in the Spanish city of Torremolinos (Torremolinos) and is celebrated annually on September 27. This date was chosen in connection with the fact that on that day in 1970 the Charter of the World Tourism Organization was adopted. But the tourism industry was born a long time ago – the first world's travel agency was opened in 1841 by Thomas Cook. Mark Twain became one of the first American clients of this company. Cook was recognized as the "inventor of tourism", and his travel agency became world famous. After five decades, the firm "Thomas Cook and Son" owned 84 offices, 85 agencies, and its services were used by more than 3 million people.
