In the new train schedule, which will be launched on December 12, 2021, the record holder is the train №5 / 6 Mariupol - Rakhiv, which will unite 12 regions of Ukraine. This is the longest route of Ukrzaliznytsia: its total length is 1806 km. This is as much as between Ivano-Frankivsk and Athens, the capital of Greece;
The train route actually covers the whole country - it passes through Zaporizhia, Dnipro, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, unites east and west.
At the same time, the route is high-altitude - its final stop is in the highest mountain city in Ukraine.
For the convenience of passengers, Ukrzaliznytsia has organized train stops at the stations from which the routes to the tourist magnets of Ukraine begin, namely:
- Yaremche and Tatariv - the nearest stations to the Bukovel complex;
- Vorokhta - a location where the two most recognizable viaducts of Ukraine are located at once;
- Yasinya - the nearest settlement to the alpine ski resort Dragobrat;
- Kvasy - the starting point for hiking in the Carpathian Gorgan massif, from here you can start routes to the mountain peaks of Hoverla and Petros;
- Rakhiv, where the difference in height between the streets reaches several hundred meters, according to Wikipedia.
